INTRODUCTION TO THE TRADE UNION OF THE FACULTY OF CIVIL AND INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION

The Trade Union of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction was formed alongside the formation and development of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction, and is a departmental trade union directly under the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering. Over many generations, the Trade Union of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction has grown strong and made many contributions to the development of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction in particular and the University of Civil Engineering in general.

Currently, the Trade Union of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction consists of 7 departmental trade union branches with a total of 122 union members. The Faculty's Trade Union is always a strong collective, leading in activities organized by the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering.

Thanks to the solidarity of all union members in the Faculty, the attention, support, and close guidance of the University's Trade Union and the leadership of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction, the Faculty's trade union activities have always achieved high results and successfully completed their tasks.

- We have built a highly unified team, encouraged union members to develop their abilities, and done a good job in educating the younger generation. The lives of teachers and staff are gradually stabilizing.

- The Faculty's Trade Union always cooperates well with the Faculty's Board of Directors to organize the Conference of Officials and Employees; develop plans to care for the lives of teachers and workers; effectively monitor the implementation of policies and regulations for teachers and workers, ensuring timely provision of current benefits; and proactively represent union members and workers in dialogue with employers when issues related to rights and obligations arise.

- Encouraging and motivating union members of the Faculty to participate in scientific research, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction is always a leading unit in scientific research at the University every year, with many ISI and Scopus articles published in prestigious international journals.

- Every year, the Faculty's Trade Union successfully organizes celebratory activities on the occasion of holidays and festivals: celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20th), Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20th), International Women's Day (March 8th), International Children's Day (June 1st), year-end celebrations, and New Year greetings.

- To build, maintain, and develop a strong cultural, sports, and physical education movement, fostering a spirit of unity and a joyful, enthusiastic atmosphere that spreads to all faculty and staff of the Department.

The following are the emulation titles achieved by the Trade Union of the Faculty of Nutrition and Technology:

- Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Education Union for the Trade Union of the Department of Civil and Industrial Construction.

- The Trade Union of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction was awarded the title of Outstanding and Strong Departmental Trade Union.

- Sports achievements: Champion of the XD-League football tournament for many years, and achieved many high-ranking awards in tennis, table tennis, badminton, and tug-of-war competitions organized annually by the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering.
