1. Training objectives

1.1 Overall Objectives

- To train high-quality human resources, conduct scientific research, and transfer advanced technology in the field of structural engineering to meet the needs of the country's industrialization, modernization, and international integration.

- The Structural Engineering program trains students in the structural systems of construction projects. The curriculum provides students with fundamental and specialized knowledge, practical professional skills, and the research and creative abilities necessary to solve problems related to the conceptualization, design, implementation, inspection, and evaluation of structural engineering solutions, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of structural systems and the operation of related technical systems in construction projects. The program also prepares students for work in fields requiring advanced knowledge of structural engineering, or for postgraduate research.

1.2 Specific Objectives

Graduates from the Structural Engineering program can:

Possessing a basic understanding of mathematics and natural sciences, sufficient for acquiring specialized educational knowledge and the ability to study at a higher level. Having foundational knowledge in structural engineering: basic principles of mechanics, architecture, materials, building engineering systems, and construction technology; and in-depth principles of structural engineering. From this, possessing the capacity to conceive, design, and implement structural engineering projects.
Possessing personal, professional, communication, and teamwork skills ensures effective work in a dynamic social context and a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multinational work environment.
Possessing knowledge of economics, society, and law relevant to their field of study, and having the ability and willingness to commit to professional ethics and lifelong learning to make an effective contribution to the sustainable development of society and the community.
Career development opportunities are available in the field of structural engineering; pursuing, registering for, and fulfilling professional certifications and licenses domestically and internationally; or enrolling in and completing postgraduate training programs in the relevant specialization.
2. Training program structure

The Structural Engineering specialization training program includes the following knowledge blocks:
