PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

The Civil Engineering and Industrial Construction major (English-language XE) is a high-quality program within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Industrial Construction. From the first to the final year, students will continuously study advanced English taught by both domestic and international lecturers. Specialized subjects are taught in English by highly qualified lecturers. Students will complete and defend their graduation projects in English before an international evaluation committee.

OPPORTUNITY

- XE students have the opportunity to receive scholarships for study tours and internships at universities in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, etc., as well as scholarships for studying abroad through joint undergraduate and postgraduate programs with partner universities such as: Victoria University (Australia), Deakin University (Australia), Saitama University (Japan), National University of NTU (Taiwan), Leipzig University (Federal Republic of Germany), University of Liège (Belgium), etc.

- XE students are given priority to participate in international and specialized seminars;

- Priority will be given to technical staff internships and job placements with foreign companies or joint ventures with foreign partners that are partners of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction.

ACHIEVEMENTS

- Many XE students have received scholarships for study tours and internships at universities in Japan and Singapore, and have also achieved full scholarships to study in Singapore and the Netherlands.

- 100% of students from all cohorts completed their graduation projects in English and successfully defended their projects before an international evaluation committee.

- 100% of XE students are employed by leading construction companies in Vietnam after graduation.

- Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of Civil Engineering.

- Certificate of completion of the English language training program from the University of Civil Engineering.

- Target audience: Students admitted to the University of Civil Engineering (excluding Architecture and Regional & Urban Planning majors)

- No English proficiency required
