The Faculty and Staff Football Tournament of the University of Civil Engineering - XD.LEAGUE 2020 is one of the annual activities, part of a series of events leading up to the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th at the University of Civil Engineering.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the XD.LEAGUE 2020 tournament, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh - Vice Rector of the University - praised and acknowledged the contributions of the Organizing Committee over the years in always creating opportunities and organizing beneficial activities leading up to the November 20th celebration, as well as fostering a united and joyful atmosphere to complete the academic year's tasks. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh stated that the XD.LEAGUE football tournament of the University of Civil Engineering is always a vibrant event, attracting a large number of staff and faculty members to participate. It is a practical activity aimed at creating a healthy playground, maintaining physical training for staff after work and study hours, and at the same time, providing an opportunity for mutual learning and exchange, thereby strengthening the spirit of solidarity, cooperation, and close ties among staff and faculty members of the university.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh - Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, delivered the opening speech for the tournament.

The 2020 Faculty and Staff Football Tournament of the University of Civil Engineering (XD.League 2020) was a vibrant event filled with excitement, surprises, and drama. This year's tournament featured six teams from various faculties, departments, and centers, with nearly 150 players competing in a round-robin format. The participating teams displayed a spirit of fair play and honesty, showcasing many excellent plays and goals, leaving a positive impression on the spectators.

On November 15, 2020, at Hall H3, the Trade Union of the University of Civil Engineering organized the Award Ceremony for the XD.League 2020 Football Tournament and the Closing Ceremony of the series of sports activities celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th. The University of Civil Engineering Staff Football Tournament – XD.League 2020 was a great success, with the championship trophy going to the Civil and Industrial Construction Faculty team .

The Faculty leadership congratulated the Civil Engineering and Construction Faculty's football team after their first match (a 4-0 victory) at the XD-League 2020.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Ngoc Khoa – Head of the Trade Union presented the XD.League 2020 Championship Cup to the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction staff football team.
