To create an environment where French-speaking students of the university can interact, learn, practice, and improve their French language skills, professional expertise, and soft skills, on January 15, 2021, the Faculty of Civil Engineering launched the French Club for Construction (Espace francophone d'Ingénierie en Bâtiment – EFIB). For students in the French-speaking program .

The French for Specific Purposes Club - EFIB operates with the following objectives:

- It serves as a healthy platform, bringing together and uniting French-speaking students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Construction, guiding students towards beneficial activities, helping and sharing with each other in their studies, and creating opportunities for interaction with students from other French-speaking faculties within the university and other universities.

- To create a friendly environment for students to practice their listening and speaking skills, and to handle situations when communicating in French.

- Helping XF students develop teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and learn more about the culture of Francophone countries through club activities, cultural and artistic events, and practical experiences.

- Opening up career and international study opportunities for students through sharing sessions with lecturers, French-speaking alumni, and business representatives.
